Who Are We

Charnwood Grove of Druids is based in the Charnwood Forest area of Leicestershire, in the heart of the East Midlands. We are a community of pagans from a range of traditions who gather in shared celebration of the seasonal festivals and the living landscape around us.

Our Practice

Our focus is celebratory and community-centred. While our members bring diverse spiritual paths and experiences, our rites are conducted within the Druidic tradition — honouring the land, the ancestors, and the turning of the Wheel of the Year.

Wheel of The Year

We meet eight times each year to mark the seasonal festivals. These gatherings form the heartbeat of our grove: moments to pause, reflect, and stand together at each threshold of the year. Further details of our upcoming rituals can be found on the Events page.

We gather at eight sacred thresholds:

• Samhain
• Imbolc
• Beltane
• Lughnasadh
• and the Solstices and Equinoxes
